NDA-Shaping Future Leaders of India's Armed Forces

The National Defence Academy (NDA), located in Khadakwasla, Maharashtra, near Pune, stands as a prestigious joint services academy of the Indian Armed Forces. It is where cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force come together to undergo rigorous training before advancing to pre-commissioning programs at their respective service academies.

As the nation’s first tri-service academy, NDA symbolizes unity, discipline, and excellence.

NDA is not just an institution—it is a cradle for the future leaders of India’s armed forces. It prepares exceptional young individuals for officer-level roles, transforming them into honorable, confident, and capable professionals.

At NDA, cadets are instilled with the skills, values, and resilience needed to face challenges with courage and integrity. It is a journey of growth, shaping individuals into officers who lead with distinction and embody the ethos of being an officer and a gentleman.
